This month, as the world marked World Toilet Day, we were reminded of the urgent need for quality sanitation in South Africa, where around 10% of the population—more than 6 million people—still lack access to proper sanitation. Without the dignity and privacy of a toilet, millions face daily challenges.

In response, Infinite Industries has teamed up with valued partners like Rotary International, Fibre Circle, and Polyco to bring sanitation facilities to underserved areas, including some of the most remote communities. Our self-composting, low-water toilet systems, housed within the thoughtfully designed Infinite Industries ablution blocks, offer a sustainable sanitation solution for rural and under-resourced areas.

The self-composting technology in our systems allows for installations independent of the national grid, minimizing reliance on traditional infrastructure and enabling rapid, impactful solutions to the country’s sanitation challenges.
